Rob, the man who has done all of my tattoos, apparently no longer works at Sacred Heart Tattoo and has opened his own shop, Holy Mother Tattoo. Yes, it’s a religious experience. If’n you’re in Atlanta GA and want some ink, give him a ring.
While I’m on the subject, the best piercing place is easily Piercing Experience also in Hotlanta. A close second is Chicago’s own Progressive Piercing, where Scott did a lot of his work with Brian from Piercing Experience. They’re good folks and really know their stuff.
I’m asking you for your good and for your nation’s security to take no unnecessary trips, to use carpools or public transportation whenever you can, to park your car one extra day per week, to obey the speed limit, and to set your thermostats to save fuel. Every act of energy conservation like this is more than just common sense — I tell you it is an act of patriotism.

Yawp, the city nearest which I grew up in made the news today, and not for a meth lab.

Seriously, this thing was sharp and hurty in all directions.

I was at my brother’s house in Atlanta this weekend for his & Colleen’s wedding party shower reception thing. Had a great time. Dad got rear-ended for the second time in a year on Friday afternoon but is doing OK albeit some soreness. My grandfather is in a rehab center and doing better. Looks like he’s got a couple compressed vertebrae that are pinching a nerve. Ow.
Back at the C & C music factory for Saturday evening, I alternated between chugging water and drinking beer. I was in quite a bit of pain and obviously had a blockage in my system. After talking to my loving wife, I went back into the bathroom with that stupid plastic strainer funnel and…

This kidney stone better as hell leave soon. It’s been hurting me in tender places.
Man, it’s weird when folks catch back up with you.
So whomever ‘redframes’ is, send me a lil’ email.
I don’t think any of my 203498234 addresses are listed anywhere on this site, but i’m pretty sure you could figure one out.

Still making my rounds of the local bio pumps. Skipped a doctor’s appointment and went in late to work, but swung by the Road Ranger B10(?) pump at 909 E Roosevelt Rd in Lombard today. Nice. Didn’t notice the blend posted but filling up was easy easy easy. Ventectomy halfway thru the last tank allowed me to put in almost 13.5 gallons! In my departed Volvo, the same miles on one tank (458.1) would’ve made me put in at least 17 gallons, assuming I made it that far. I left the receipt at work, but I believe it was $2.559/gal, less than PUG.
Just as I was leaving, some old coot pulled up behind me in an older Mercedes diesel. Unfortunately, he saw the price and decided to go to another station east on Roosevelt… he drove off before I could pull around and talk him out of it!
On a side note, I also have a chipkey coming from the Al Warren Oil Co that will allow me to use their pumps at 43rd & Knox in Chicago and their B11 pumps in Summit & Channahon. The lady I’ve been talking to – Sue – says their Summit pump currently does not accept credit cards but due to public interest in B11, they should have it accepting cards again in a week or so.
It’s been done and documented by many others before me (most notably by the crooklyn kid hisself, perdedor). Far from blazing a new trail, i was merely following a well-worn one and decided to branch off onto this one.

Lest anyone say that i mince words, let me be plain when i say that i love superglue. While i find it less than ideal for most household repairs, the biggest problem with handling it turns into its biggest advantage: BONDS SKIN INSTANTLY.
